What is the DIRTY DUO?
Being mountain bikers and trail runners, we want to share what living and playing on the Old Hidden Vale trails is all about!! This scenic trail race will challenge beginners as well as extreme athletes. Here are the three options:

Dirty Duo XCD
Run 12 km, Ride 30km; individual or as teams

Trail Runs
• Run 5 km,
• Run 12 km,
• Run 21 km,

XC MTB Race
• Ride 30 km,

Note: You do not need to run and bike; you can choose one event!

Can I Do It?
Yes! You can do it, if you:

• Have built up a solid base on trails,
• Can run for 2-4 hours (21 km trail) by race day,
• Can ride for 1-3 hours (30 km mtb race) by race day,
• Have experience with trail races and recognise that they take longer than road races,
• Want an early race to kick start your year,
• Have previewed the Old Hidden Vale single track on your mountain bike.

Entries close 14 Sept 2009 at 1700 hrs.

Directions from Brisbane: Head out along the Warrego Highway, turn left at Marburg onto the Marburg Rosewood Rd. At Laidley turn right onto the Rosewood Laidley Rd and travel west to Grandchester. Cross the railway at Grandchester and head south on the Granchester Mount Mort Rd to Old Hidden Vale. The property entrance is on the right 1,500 metres past the main gate of Peppers Hidden Vale.
